About Faith & Gather Community: Where faith and God-sized dreams thrive together
Hello, I'm Erica Dvorak, and I want to share with you why God led me to create the Faith & Gather Community for Christian women.
It all began with a profound realization that God-sized dreams often come with their fair share of hardships. As a solo entrepreneur, I encountered roadblocks day after day. Finances were tight, resources were scarce, and time seemed to slip through my fingers. But above all, what I missed the most was community.
They say necessity is the mother of all inventions, but I believe God creates necessity. He does this so that we may recognize our dependence on Him and discover the divine callings He has placed upon our lives. In my case, this necessity led to the birth of the Faith & Gather Community.
I dreamed of a community where Christian women dreamers like you and I could find the support and guidance we so desperately needed. I longed for advisors who could help with the tech, legal, and business issues that constantly paralyzed me, fellow women I could bounce ideas off of, and a place where our faith could grow alongside our dreams.
Acts 4:32-37, “The Fellowship of Believers,” is a profound inspiration for the Faith & Gather Community. It describes a community of believers who devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. They shared everything they had, praised God, and enjoyed the favor of all the people. And as they did this, the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
I pictured the Faith & Gather Community to be just like this, a place where we come together, share our resources, talents, and experiences for the glory of God, and work collectively to expand His Kingdom daily. Our community embodies the spirit of togetherness, where faith and pursuing dreams are woven seamlessly and we empower one another to reach our God-given potential.
